Behind the Scenes - Halloween

This year, we decided to do something different for Halloween. We threw a culture celebration, and hit pause on everything else.

Because when you're building something great at startup velocity…

… sometimes it's worth taking a pause, to look around and truly grasp the beautiful and special thing you are building.

Unfortunately, in entrepreneurship, pressing pause is often the hardest part.

We dig ourselves so much into the day-to-day that we forget that sometimes the fastest way to move forward is by actually pausing for a while.

Our pause today enabled us to:

→ Celebrate our wins, the loud ones and the quiet ones

→ Laugh at the chaos (and learn from it)

→ Honored our incredible team with 8 full hours of heartfelt recognition, because every single person is essential to the magic we create

→ Remember that fun isn't a break from work; sometimes, it is the work

→ Look around and feel the sense of our unique culture

Because culture isn't a slide deck. It's what you do when no one's watching. It's how people feel when they show up. And today, RealUp showed up as its most authentic self.

I am incredibly proud of this team.
